  1. There’s a lot of things I’d like to see come back and would definitely shell out the money for it.

From the original NES (I’m going back that far) I’d love to see a remake of the Guardian legend and faxanadu.

I may be the only one but I’d like to see a new Bonus Adventure game.

Crash needs to come back. They could do like Rachet and Clank, remake the first game and add new stuff and levels.

Skies of arcadia 2. Sega needs to just make it or do with the original via FFVII. After all there was a character advertised new on the gamecube on the box art and though you fought her she was never playable. They could now fix that, add a few more characters, and give them back stories.

Virtua Fighter just needs to die. DoA cameos are decent but imo they’d belong better in Tekken (or a new fighting game all together.)

Would love to see a new mega man game. The blue bomber needs to come back and Crapcom always teasing about him just shows how dedicated they are to the fan base that MAKES THEM MONEY. Are they stupid? How about a mash up game, wiley revives all of the robots, add new levels, new robots as well, and have the ability to play as proto, roll, and bass. Add some rpg elements to it maybe and go with it (the ability to have different armors for the different robots etc.)

I could go on and on but…I’ll stop there 🙂

  2. I’m kinda disappointed with the result of Virtua Fighter. Though I’ve never played a core title, I have fond memories of playing Sega Superstars and barely winning on it. There was also the anime back in the 90’s that was really cool in my opinion. I watched it some time last year and quite enjoyed just how it felt to be watching it.

    1. It IS the 20th anniversary this year, seems like the perfect time. But yeah, maybe people think that Lemmings’ concepts and mechanics have spread to so many other games that it isn’t really relevant anymore. I am hoping that some of these that were picked for retirement were chosen for reasons like that and not strictly because people aren’t interested. That would make me really sad about the ones I myself REALLY want to come back, if people just plain don’t care anymore: Klonoa, Tenchu, and Prince of Persia. Others disappointed me too, but those were the big three.

      1. 20 years does seem like a good time… at least for some sort of “anniversary re-mastered new graphics new episode time attack edition…X”. Considering the amount of games that seem to get endless generic sequels it is a shame that some older underused IP with more life left in it seems to get forgotten.
