The Results Are In! The Top 10 Star Wars Games as Chosen By Our Readers

You ended up choosing a fairly balanced mix of Star Wars games from across eras and genres – but not much love was shown for the classic PC titles. However, it should be noted that TIE Fighter just missed the top 10, and if that still doesn’t placate you…well I guess you should’ve voted then, huh?

The write-in votes consisted of The Empire Strikes Back on Atari 2600, the NES Star Wars game, and the infamous PlayStation fighting game Masters of Teras Kasi – which you might assume was just a troll vote, as I did, but I had a chance to speak to the guy who was responsible for it and he insisted it wasn’t and that he just has a soft spot for the game. We all have at least one hated game that we quietly love, don’t we?

Oh, and literally one vote separated the #2 and #1 games. By far our closest finish to date.

  1. It’s funny, when I think of best Star Wars game I remember that my little sister and I had this stupid game based on the first prequel when we were kids. And it was an awful game, but it was really the only video game we had, so we played it a lot. We really had to work together to do a lot of the puzzles and things, and it made for some really great sibling memories.
Still, as far as this list goes, KoTOR is the unquestioned ruler of Star Wars games in my mind. A little sad the MMO didn’t make it. I actually really enjoyed that.
