Throwback Thursday: My Favorite Games of the Year for 1981-2013

While everyone is talking about their pick for 2014’s Game of the Year, I’ve decided to share what my picks are for GotY for each of the other 32 years of my lifetime. It was a very interesting exercise that I recommend everybody try. You find yourself being really surprised at some of your picks, as well as frustrated by how many of your favorite games have to be left out because they were released during years with an especially high concentration of quality titles.
