New Game Releases for 12/08 – 12/14: Square Enix Doesn’t Know How Reboots Work

Lara-Croft-und-der-tempel-des-osiris-Despite the fact that 2013’s Tomb Raider told a new origin story for Lara Croft and was meant to be a reboot for the entire franchise, this week’s Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris (PC, PS4, XB1) has been confirmed to star the Lara from the “Legend” timeline, which includes Tomb Raiders Legend, Anniversary, and Underworld. It’s also a sequel to – and in the style of – the 2010 game Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light. So yeah, so much for that supposed reboot, eh?

      1. It looked like a really fun twin stick shooter, and I almost picked it up before I realized I own about 5 more twin-stick shooters that I have yet to play.

I’m in the same boat as you – my backlog game is pretty strong.
