New Releases for Oct 20 – 26

Sid Meier’s Civilization: Beyond Earth

Another week means another huge batch of game releases, including more of the fall season’s big releases.  We’ve got highly anticipated sequel Bayonetta 2 hitting the Wii U this week, and after some stellar reviews, it looks like Nintendo fans are getting another winner.  Not to be outdone, the PC will see the release of Sid Meier’s Civilization: Beyond Earth, the spiritual successor to the classic Alpha Centauri.

Disney Fantasia: Music Evolved will be out this week for the Xbox 360 and Xbox One.  A new take on the rhythm genre, Disney Fantasia promises to allow players a bit more creative control over the music, rather than simply tapping to a beat.

Screencheat

Screencheat is also out this week.  A local multiplayer shooter, Screencheat harkens back to the days when you’d use the most dastardly of multiplayer cheats, the screen-look.  Screencheat puts a fresh spin on the idea by making all player invisible, making screencheating the only viable strategy.

The winner of this week’s OMG That’s The Best Title For A Game I’ve Ever Seen award goes to Fluster Cluck, another local multiplayer shooter for the PS4.  It’s a very musical week as Just Dance 2015 will be out for all current and previous gen consoles and The Voice: I Want You will be out for the Xbox 360 and the Wii U.  The Legend of Korra, the game based on the Nickelodeon series will be available on all current and previous gen consoles (minus the Wii U).  Finally, The Walking Dead – A Telltale Games Series: Season Two will make it’s way to PS4 and Xbox One.  There are a few more titles out this week, so here’s a quick list of what else is on the way:

Samurai Warriors 4 – PS3, PS4, PS Vita
Dream Fall Chapters: Book One – PS4
Jagged Alliance: Flashback – PC
Shantae And The Pirate’s Curse – 3DS
Fantasy Life – 3DS
Pokemon Art Academy – 3DS
Shadow Warrior – PS4, Xbox One
